Hot and Trendy: Google Teams up with Looker

The IT world is stirred up with the latest plans of Google to acquire Looker, a data analytics platform.

Google LLC announced its agreement with Looker to join forces in the development of a comprehensive data analytics solution for customers.  

Looker, a business analytics and data intelligence platform, empowers organizations to draw insights from user workflows and extract value from their data. With over 1,600 global customers including industry whales and innovators like Amazon, Kickstarter, Spotify, Sony, Amazon, HubSpot, Yahoo, and IBM, Looker triggers business development with big data analytics, BI and data-infused intelligence solutions.

As reported by the platform, Looker will join Google Cloud after the acquisition. It is predicted to further accelerate Google Cloud’s leadership, that competes with titans like Amazon.com Inc and Microsoft Corp, on the cloud infrastructure market.

Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud shared, “Google Cloud is being used by many of the leading organizations in the world for analytics and decision-making. The combination of Google Cloud and Looker will enable customers to harness data in new ways to drive their digital transformation.”

Nowadays data is becoming the success resource for every forward-looking organization globally. So, the alliance of Looker and Google Cloud will offer enterprises more viable options to leverage analytics, AI, big data and machine learning for consistent business insights.
