Salesforce Acquires Conversational AI Startup

A global cloud-based software leader Salesforce.com, Inc. announced the acquisition of Israeli conversational intelligence provider Bonobo.

Bonobo.ai is a young startup which leverages AI technology for extracting insights from online customer interactions. Bonobo.ai, founded in 2017, has already gained a fair part of customer recognition. Its acquisition by Salesforce will advance the ability to drive even more conversational intelligence capabilities within the platform and help companies upgrade customer journeys to a new quality level.

Their solutions help customer-facing teams process interactions data from across various channels, including email, voice, chat, and video, and analyze it and convert it into ready-for-use info for improved customer experience.

Bonobo AI will enhance the power of Salesforce Sales Cloud by leveraging conversational intelligence within the Salesforce Platform.

Recently, Salesforce also acquired a location-based startup MapAnything, and also enriched its portfolio with the acquisition of  RoundCorner and Griddable.
